Criticism does bother sometimes depending on who dishes it out. Most of the time constructive criticism allows you to better yourself and brings you to a sense of well being.

Yeah, that's why I usually don't go back to check my answers for all of those thumbs downs. It's funny how some people are much better at doing this than taking it. Some people seem to just have to "kick the dog" down the line somewhere else. Many people aren't very good at taking their own advice either, thus making them hypocrites. Maybe this is just our societies typically flawed example: "double standards?"

I realize I'm not perfect but to criticize is to have anger. I always apologize when I know I am wrong. However, some people want to feel superior to others and I know this. I do try to listen to my parents realizing they know more than I do. However, if they do this in anger I listen and then keeping myself composed will help me and you. Talk to them later, when they've cooled down.
Always keep you emotions in tact. This will make a better you and you will learn that you have wisdom.

Only if is scathing criticism. Say I make a mistake and someone well that's incorrect let me show you where you went wrong, then that does not bother me. now if same person said you are so stupid why did you bother trying you will never understand. that would bother me.

If the criticism is justified and explained, than I find it helpful because it will help me fix whatever is being criticized. If it has no back-up and is just to put me down, it does bother me.

Some things, like my writing, i cant even be in the same room when someone is critiquing my work. I am too afraid I will snap at them.

It bothers me when it's too late to change it. You want to criticize when i can still make a change, great. Don't tell me I screwed up after the fact, I can probably figure that out for myself!
