Hello okay heres the deal I am 75% 2cm on tues and the mid wife stripped my cervix and I have been really crampy since then. But I am having this pinching in my vagina area every 15 min or so is this a real labor contraction?

I know women who have had contractions that didn't hurt and were in real labor..of course I wasn't one of the lucy ones...anyway I would call my midwife and let her know what is going on..it's better to be safe than sorry.

You will know when you are in labor ..TRUST ME!!
you will start having real contractions every 5 minutes.....It will be ok at first just a tightening....if it starts to hurt...and is every 5 call your dr. also, feel your stomach while you are contracting..if they are true contractions your stomach will be as hard as a rock!!

If the discomfort you are experiencing continues for an hour or longer consistently, if the get closer together, call your OB or birthing center. If you start bleeding or your water breaks, go to the hospital immediately. Good luck.

I would say no. Pinching in the vagina, would not be your uterus contracting.

no. real contractions usually wrap around your whole belly
