At 14 weeks they can see the labial fold of a girl baby. The absence of that labial fold means it's a boy. Unless your baby has its little legs crossed they should be able to tell. Congratulations, Daddy!!

If the baby is cooperative. By 18 weeks you can get a visual, however 20 weeks is better as the baby is bigger. Having a sonogram before 18 weeks will be very difficult to tell the sex of the baby.
Best of Luck & Congrats on the little one!!

My sister is due November 1st. She went to a few appointments, and the doctors keep telling her that its a boy. Even though you should be able to tell the sex of the baby around 5-6 months, she found out at 3 and a half. So maybe you might be able to find out.
Good Luck. ;)

My due date is Dec 3 and im only like 10 weeks. so that makes her like 11 weeks. so actually she isn't even 3 months yet. You don't usually find out the sex of the baby until 20-21 weeks. Good Luck.

Gonna have to say that would be to soon. I am due October 13th, and have had 2 scans done and both times was unable to get a reading.. The doctor said it is better to wait untill I am closer to 21 weeks that way the scan is accurate, and the gender is very noticable.. Be patient you will know soon enough if it is a boy or girl....

After 20 weeks there's a good chance they can tell. If she's 4 months along (or 16 weeks) it might be a little early, but there's still a chance.
Congrats!

it's possible if it's sitting right. They probably won't waste time trying to figure it out. At the big 5 month where they take a lot of measurements they try and figure out the sex.

Yes, they can usually tell you the sex at that time, if you want to know. Some people don't want to know, though.
