Nocturnal animals are active at night, diurnal animals are active during the day. Some animals can be active either time, or both, like animals that are most acitve around dusk and dawn. What is this called?

Animals that are most active around dusk and dawn are called crepuscular (twilight activity).Within the definition of crepuscular are the terms matinal (or "matutinal") and vespertine, denoting animals active in the morning (dawn) and evening (dusk) respectively.

It takes a lot to stump me, but with humble apologies, you have stumped me. The only two words are as you have said; Nocturnal or Diurnal. I would love to learn what the one word meaning active both day and night is~! :-(
