my son just did a report and he said his sources, such as Ben Franklin: Inventor and Scientist, Inventing America:the life of Ben Franklin by Essig, Mark Regan, and Creating a Nation by Warrick, Karen Clemens, said he died in his sleep.

An idiot would say that he died while flying a kite in a thunderstorm which for some reason is a common misconception among my friends. I did a report on him and everyone else's answers are correct.
