I usually put some music on and sing along to it. It always makes me feel better.

Today nothing I tried worked ~ scream, went outside to cuss a lot, laughed, smiled, called a friend, talked with a peer about the situation, I tried to read but couldn't concentrate ~ I would give up and try drugs but I'd just feel bad and I've just got to get up and do it all again tomorrow!

Laughing is a good one. Sometimes so many things go wrong that all you can do is laugh. I also do boxing. I have boxing gloves and a bag. It's good to vent frustration. I also find that sex (with my bf) helps, it's the best stress reliever. I am also learning to stop worrying about things that are out of my control, this is great advice I think!

I go outside. If it's summer, I usually go to the beach or river. I love the sounds that water makes ... to hear waves lap at the shore ... to feel the gentle breeze that comes off the lake, and blows through my hair. When I step into nature it makes me realize how trivial most of my problems are, and how easily, with a little thought ... they can be fixed. :)

Fill the bath with loads of bubbles put in my bath lights, put on soft music and open a bottle of wine, then just soak for ages. However if that doesn't work go to the gym and lift weights till i'm knackered lol :)

You'll probably think this is weird but I like to listen to Bob Marley music. I'm hung up on him,and his voice calms me down. Then I think about him and wonder what he's like in person. Pretty soon, I'm calm.

I sit down and take a deep breath and and let it out nice and slow and read a book, that will calm me down.

I talk to my Father. He's very good at making me feel so much better about anything. It's funny because in those moments I feel like a child again.

I used to do Valium 10 mg as many as i had, now i open a good book, get my mind off it, or start venting to who and what ever listens.
