I'm a big fan of grunge and I listen to alot of grunge bands, but I still think Nirvana is the best one. Mudhoney is pretty good though, they sound alot like Nirvana.

Nirvana will probably be mostly said followed by Pearl Jam but I would say Alice in Chains.

It's hard to argue any band other than Nirvana, they were the ones who spearheaded the movement and Kurt Cobain was incredibly talented.
