I have a Dell M92D7 desktop and the sound doesn't work, the people that worked on it can't get here soon

You need to download the correct sound drivers, goto Dell's website, choose support and punch in the 7 character service tag (found at back of PC) and it will list the sound drivers for download.

don't want to run you're day but it could be that you're sound card is gone
