I know that there is alot of you on here who are great people, I love the things some of you have to say. But some people here just break my heart. When did we all get so filled with hate? I want to change the world...I just have no idea how. Who is with me?

Girl, you read my mind!!! I have been struggling with this exact thing for a few days! I can't take it much more. It's so sad the way people are hating each other, and stereotyping, and never even trying to get to know one another.
I don't know why it's hit me so hard lately, but it's stuck in my head!

I completely agree with you.. There are so many great people.. (not just here, but in the world).. But there are so many people that are so unbelievably racist and awful..
I wish I could even understand why racism is the way that it is. I mean, I'd say a huge percentage of people who are racist.. haven't even had anything happen to them to give them reason for it.. (Not that there is reason for it, but I mean to say that they haven't even been affected by someone of another race.. but yet still are racist)..
I believe that the largest number of people that are racist are that way because of either there upbringing or others that they have 'looked up to', etc.. Racism in my opinion seems to be a 'learned' thing. People don't just automatically decide they don't like other races.. they seem to have to have it 'taught' into them over the years..
I wish there were ways to change these things... When it comes to Yahoo Answers, I try to say my bit when I see someone being racist, etc.. hoping that even one person will see something that I or someone else says.. and it will guide them a little away from such a wrong attitude in life.
Where did the hate come from in the first place? To me.. I think that it comes from when something happens.. there are certain people that decide that instead of one small group of people.. that all people of the particular race.. are the same.. which is a boneheaded attitude.. since EVERY race has bad people in it.. that would make that person themself in a 'bad race' according to their own ideas.. heh

I'm with you. I know most of us never started being racist so this should go out to all of the racist bastards. I want to make a change too but unfortunately these close-minded jerks just won't open up & help us do that.

first lets get the racist thing gone martin luther king had it rite we need to not judge by color of skin
when i fill out forms and they list race i put in human or american ........ i wish all would do it list your country you pledge aleagence to ... 2nd dont hold children back so others can keep up if you want to live in a country learn there language teach your kids the native languige have special classes in school to teach the language thain put the kids into school kids are smart they will catch up .... 3rd if you believe your nationality or color of skin means you need a hand up becouls your not as smart as someone of another nationality or skin color your dumb ,,,,,,,, you have the same brain funtions as the rest of us
paople all over the world deserve to be educated
also we need to be taught values so we dont take advantage of each other
if you call my anger hate so be it
what angers me is when someone who comes to my country bad mouthes it and wants to turn it into the country they fled
i feal hurt thinking of all our soldjers who fought and died so we could have this great country that so many are willing to give up so much to get here just to have so many take it for granit or to distroy it
i do hate thieves and all those who want to harm my family and friends
i could go on all day i hope ypu get the point

You're right. Most of the time, I ignore it, but I've been called a n*gger and coon so many times today and the weird part is that some people are agreeing with them. This makes Santa sad

Here's a fact, sweetheart. As somebody who is from California, racism is EVERYWHERE, and not just by us whites, but against us as well. Mexicans hate us, blacks hate us, hell, even chinks hate us. So if you're thinking that once you get to California that its going to be all peace-y and free-lovey, you're wrongola! And to tell the truth, i dont care if anyone from another race loves me or hates me. I just want to do stuff to make myself and my loved ones happy
