No it shouldn't, but the far- left liberals and atheist will make a big deal about it. Most past presidents had some type of religious background.

It should not matter. I know each Candidate, has their own Religious up-bringing. I am really considering the Mormon Candidate. I am not a Republican, but might switch because I really like him. I get so sick and tired of the war between each Party. I am tired of the fighting and the division that is happening in our Government. Possibly a Religious President like the Mormon Candidate, will bring Peace and a good balance in our badly needed Administration. Peace and Unison has got to be somewhere for all of us Americans. We don't deserve what has happened in the last Administration. They play the blame game . I am sick of it. We need a Religious , Honest person in the White House. We the People don't deserve to be deceived. God Bless America !!

each and all of the time. first of all the form states everybody over 35 and 14 years a resident could be president. meaning any illegitimate and illiterate 40 three hundred and sixty 5 days old Joe Blow dropping time in front of a liquor shop could be president. His spouse too. *If she chooses. i do no longer understand the place this qualification crap is coming from. everybody likes to wave the form yet I regularly contemplate whether everybody has ever examine the f*cking ingredient in the past they open their mouths. Assuming they do undergo in innovations what the form is. Technically the only people qualified to be president could be a former president. If somebody desires to speak adventure.

It doesn't matter to me, but we do live in a society where there certainly is tremendous bias--so, I'm sure it matters to others. I do think that for a GOP candidate this time around, it really doesn't matter in the least, since they will have a slim chance in winning regardless of their religious background.

Religious preference has NO BUSINESS in government politics. PERIOD! Bush should be hung for his hypocrisy and use of a religious icon in a political manner. That goes for ANY government entity. Religion should be personal and honest--not waved as a flag on the battlefield.
