My girlfriend, and then my friends. My parents and two brothers died when I was young, leaving me with virtually no living family except for an elderly aunt who lives far away and rarely contacts me. So in a sense, I've made my own family, consisting of my close friends.

My friend who is over 1200 miles away from me. But we make sure to call each other every couple of months to catch on the latest info or if either of us need to talk.

I get along much better with my friends than anyone in my family. If I had to pick someone in my family it'd be my dad. I love them all but they REALLY get on my nerves. Can't wait to move out.
