If i wanna be a gynecologist ob/gyn wht do i have 2 major n highschool n college

The first step is college... Major in whatever interests you. Typically people major in a science-heavy field (chemistry, physics, or biology for example) as medical schools require a certain number of science prerequisites.

However, if history is your main interest, this may set you apart from the standard pre-med crowd. Your specific major is not as important as your GPA and your outside activities.

After college, apply (and get into) a medical school. This process is long (and complex) and you can figure out the details. After 4 years of medical school, you apply for an internship and residency in OB/Gyn.

A word to the wise, don't get set on one specific part of medicine just yet. Once you are in medical school, you get a chance to see many forms of medicine from anesthesiology to internal medicine. Leave your options open.

College science and math classes with above avg GPA
Seek advice from guidance counseler early and make sure you stay on track , try to work for a group of physicians while in college as you will need recommendation letters to get into med school even if your grades are tops!!

know your sciences. major in anything in college, there is no such thing as a premed major. most people pick biology cause its easy but there are 1000s of applicants who major in biology. you want to stick out in medical school, so pick something else. once you get accepted into medical school you will have a better idea of what you want to do.

YOU MUST GO TO MEDICAL SCHOOL. A COLLEGE DEGREE WITH A BIOLOGY MAJOR WILL BE VALUABLE.
