I LOVE U2! Its hard to pick one best song but the unforgettable fire, bad, new years day, in a little while, and i still haven't found what i'm looking for are some of my faves.
By the way, you should buy the Live at Slane Castle DVD- its great!

My favorite U2 song is with or without you. Why? If you have time, here's a little story:
I really liked a girl from our class. I've known her for 6 years then. And that was just the time I started noticing her, which developed to those usual high school crushes.
Then, I watched her grow up too, as she had mutual feelings with one of my bestfriends.
I was sort of really down back then, and i found some consolation with their song with or without 'cause i think one of its messages is letting go of a person you love, just for the sake of his/her happiness.

Just listen to the songs off of Joshua Tree, Achtung Baby, and How to Dismantle and Atomic Bomb. You will be an instant fan. They are great!
