East would be to your right, I do believe. As long as you are facing North, East is right, West is left, and South is behind you.

North Pole would be to the right as North is the front and south to your back east to the right and west is always to the left

As long as you are still heading north, east will always be to your right. Once at the true north pole, you can only go south. Although a step or two away, it would be possible to walk in a circle around the north pole, either west or east.
