VN is still a developing country and it may take at least 50 years or more to get present level of developed world. Even VN can catch up with others in terms of GDP per capital (PPP or not), it need much more time for social security systems, human related matters, environment... Loooooooooong way to go!

both the Peoples Republic of China and Socialist Republic of Vietnam pay lip-service to Communism. although the heart of Communism is a command-economic equipment the position the administration (a minimum of tries) to distribute the wealth gently. It not in any respect worked, yet both the percentand Vietnam in the present day do no longer even attempt. both one among their economies are a changed type of a free-marketplace economic equipment which surely succeeds in spreading the wealth extra gently over the longer time period. yet there is not any human economic structure that is going to effectively speared it with finished evenness. you're excellent, countless lives were lost attempting to impose the Marxist Utopian dream on the persons of the international in the course of the 20 th-century. practically 100 and fifty,000,000 lives. contained in the suitable they failed.

The salary of the average Vietnamese is 5 dollars a day. There are however many rich Vietnamese who drive cars, live in Villas etc. The cities are modern but the countryside quickly reverts to the middle ages in many areas. Vietnam is both rich and poor.
