the problem is usually with the main relay that controls the fuel pump and the ignition system. when the interior temperature of the car rises the circuit board in the relay expands and breaks the circuit contacts. this condition usualy occurs after the car has sat in the sun all day and the interior temperatures are high because the relay is located under the dash panel.

on the 90 accord the relay should be located behind the coin tray on left side of the dash. It should be grey in color but it might be brown. If the relay isn't behind the coin tray it will be behind the glove box on the right side of the dash. I think the 90 is on the left and the 91 on the right side, so check the left side first.

you'll have to buy a new main relay at a honda dealer as it is a honda only part. the honda dealer should be able to tell you where the relay is located. It is easy to replace it.

hope that helps
