Pick up a copy of Kiplinger's Mutual Funds 2007 (it's a magazine) from Barnes and Noble.

If you're new to the investing game, it gives you some pretty good tips on what to look into.

Get some professional advice too. It's worth the money.

The Wall Street Journal. Not only find them but can get information to assist you in your decision making.

I personally like Putnam, but there are many really good ones out there.
