It gets a flagging career back into the news and it makes them feel good to tell everyone how they should live. Even if they dont make any changes, they still feel good about letting you know what you should do.

They are actors for a reason: They are not real unless they have a script. They are all paragons of virtue and I am sure most of them have degrees in the fields they choose to lecture everyone else on. The rest of us are just mindless idiots that pay to see their movies and appreciate their high intelligence.

The celeb's are a do as I say not as I do bunch. They say they are concerned about polution yet step in their limo's, private jets, mansions and huge boats and want everyone else to turn their lights off. They go on about the poor yet have 40 million dollar mansions that could have gave hundreds of homes to the poor that can't afford even a small one. I don't pay any attention to them.

Because they want the peons to have to change their lives and allow them to continue with their mansions and private planes, and fleets of SUVs. I saw some where that Leonardo DiCaprio recently bought a Prius, now if only he did something about the mansions, other cars, and planes he uses, it might actually mean something. Even their Mahatma on global warming Al Gore has said he won't go green, so you can't honestly expect them to.
