Honestly, unless there are some world shattering developments between now and the primary election, I doubt that much will change.

People who feel disenfranchised will remain that way and won't turn out to vote.

Most party loyalists will continue to vote as they would under any circumstances.

More lies will be spread by all to move or bend opinion.

But in the end, the republicans will lose both the Congress and the White House. Americans are tired of pathetic politicians who blatantly ignore the will of the people.

I do. So far the Dems have run on the "Bush Screwed up" platform.

Let's assume a Dem does get elected.
There will be a short honeymoon period, and they can still say "Bush screwed up. "
But sooner or later people will stop buying it and start asking "so what are you going to do about it.?"" It'll be interesting to see what happens.

Remember when Kerry was saying, "I have a plan. "" OK! Fine! But we never found out what it was.Do we??/

elections are in place to make you think you are doing something-they already know who the next president will be.

a few years ago, i voted for a liberitarian candidate in a local election. later on the news, with 100% of the returns in, they say he didn't get any votes at all. i know that was b.s., since i voted for him, and i'm sure he voted for himself, and i'm sure someone else in his family voted for him.
