I have a brand new bathing suit and I love it! Only problem is the straps. The straps need to be criss crossed instead of vertical. It has been YEARS since I was on the swim team, but I know there is a device or a clip of some sorts you can buy specifically for this, that will pull the straps together. I dont really want to use a hair clip or something that will look tacky. I have tried looking it up and couldn't find a darn thing! If you know what I am talking about and can provide a link, that will be great. If not, any suggestions you have to pull the straps together, will be helpful!

How about just detatching the straps, crossing them and sewing them back on? Unless the suit consturction doesn't allow it that's your best bet.

Otherwise, try this cool little gadget:

Good luck!

This is the easiest thing to fix and it won't cost you a lot of money to do so.

If you have a black or navy blue suit, purchase a pair of black or navy blue shoe strings.

If this doesn't peak your interest, then how about going to a craft shop and purchasing a velcro strip that hooks to itsself.

They do have them out now that on one end there is something like a buckle end of a belt except that the end doesn't have a metal buckle.

The other end is rounded and all you do is put the rounded end into the buckle-type end. After you get it as tight as you want it, you just take the rest of the strip and wrap it around and around until it is completely wrapped up.

Please go knock 'em dead at the meets.

there's no way you can replace the strap without buying a new suit. If you need one that badly go to walmart or target and get a new one for cheap

use electrecial tape, thats what I do. It's not that great looking, but hey, would you rather have your straps fall down adn be EXPOSED?
