"you are not in charge around here", "because I'm the mom" and my fave "I don't need a reason" I swear it made me want to cry when i said those things because all I could think was OMG I really am like my mother

I'm not spending good money on that rubbish!
As long as you live under my roof you will abide by my rules. When you have your own house you can do as you please.
These are both things I hated my parents for saying to me, yet I said them too.
