ok i had an acer laptop w/ windows xp (dont buy an acer w/o service agrement trust me) and to make a long story short it died and when i press the power switch the lights come signifying its on but the screen is black and the only way to get it off it to remove battery. so i replaced my pc with another acer laptop (with service agrement) and i want to move my itunes. but rember all i have is my ipod and the other computer wont come on. what should i do? if u need more info just tell me.

Go to http://www.kennettnet.co.uk/musicrescue/ and download the free software. This will allow you to copy the music thats on your ipod back to your computer. Once you have the music on your computer you need to install itunes and then choose file -> add folder to library -> and then add the folder that you put the music into

try Tipard iPod pass application . i'm getting it on Christmas as a unfastened present from tipard studio. it fairly is reliable sufficient for us to pass data from ipod to pc or from pc to ipod . very useful application . U won't omit it.

Hi. Pull the old drive from the broken machine and install it as a slave drive on your new machine. Copy the files.
