with my words.
what can I say, speaking kind words is quite enjoyable. nothing puts a smile on my face, like warming their hearts.
it's the kind of thing that puts chills on my back, for them to be heartened by my words.

The answer is completely dependent upon the person, some people I would only like to touch with my words, some people with my words first and then my hands. Although perhaps the words are more important, expressing your love through touch is very satisfying.

I would rather touch someone with my words. It has so much more meaning and is more likely to be remembered later on.

With my wife, I use both. With someone I hate, I'll use my hands if words weren't enough.
