Yes, it is possible. It's very rare, but it does happen. It happened to me! I was 34 years old and thought I knew everything, but I was pregnant for almost 3 months and didn't know it, because I was still having my period.

So, yes, it's possible. If you think you might be pregnant, test! The symtoms I had, that I ignored were: sore breasts, being really tired, and having to pee a lot!

First off - take another pregnancy test. Read all the instructions BEFORE you open the stick. Until you get assurance that you are not pregnant, act like you are (no drinking, smoking...)

Yes, you can be pregnant and still have that 1st "period." When an embryo implants in the uterus, some women have bleeding, and it just so happens this occurs right around the time you would expect your period. It is usually lighter and shorter than your regular period.

All that said...if the rendezvous in question was March 6, you weren't having implantation on March 8! That takes 10-18 days. So, even though you probably aren't pregnant from that night, you should see your doctor if you skip a second period. There could another medical cause - or you could be pregnant from an earlier encounter.

Assuming you are not pregnant - have you considered other forms of birth control? Talk to your doctor about your options. You may be suprised what is available that you may feel is more reliable.

Good luck. I hope everything turns out like you want.

I would say you are not pregnant. I would be concerned that you haven't had a period. Make an appointment with your doctor and go over this with him/her to see what it could be.

you should go to your doctor or a clinic, or at the very least take another test, this time following the directions. it's impossible for any of us to say whether or not you're pregnant.
