viola, violin, bass, cello. How big is each?

Which one is smallest and which one is biggest? List smallest as 1, and biggest as 4.

And i want to tell you that all of them concsits of 4 stings , in violin their names from the more deep in sound to the most aigu :do, re , la ,mi and in viola therir names are sol , do , re , la . cello is the same . so the viola is something transiant between violin and viola . in orchestre always violin plays the melody the celo is the base and sometime play dramatic melodies the bass is handling the beat .

They are fractions. 4/4 means a full sized adult instrument. 3/4 is a three quarters sized instrument, 1/ 2 is half sized, etc.
