If the Democrats pass amnesty for illegal yes they will lose the House and possibly the Senate. It is a misnomer that Democrats (people not the politicians) are for the illegal alien amnesty. In fact the new democrats who won seats from Republicans ran being tougher on illegal im igration. It is one of the reasons they now hold their seats

That election is 18 months away. A lot can happen before then. SO the answer is yes. It would take a major mistake in congress or another terrorist attack that made the people afraid of the rest of the world and make them think that the President is correct in what he has done.
But if the status is similar to now and we are still fighting in Iraq, there is no chance in hell that the Republicans could win as dog catcher.

I don't know. If the Democrats win the White House, I am fine with them losing the House of Representatives. I don't like any party controlling all three houses of government. I am voting Democrat for President no matter who is running only for Supreme Court nominees.

Yes, it is possible. The Republicans did a lousy job of running the legislature when they were in power. So there is really nothing to look forward to there.
