Some homeless have regular jobs, and lost their homes for whatever reasons. Some homeless are bums that beg for money, collect cans, and steal for money. Some sleep on the street under overpasses, in parks, shelters, and hotels.

Some live in homeless shelters and others live in the streets. The homeless shelters have rooms for different size family members. If you have one adult and one child, the shelter will put you in one room with a bunk bed, kitchenette, bathroom, and some have closets. You can say in a homeless shelter for up to 2 years. You casemanager will tell you to look for an apartment while you are living in the homeless shelter. They tell you that it is tough finding housing because of housing shortage, but you must search anyway. Many of the homeless people do work, but they don't make enough money to pay for the high rent. People who live in the streets hate staying at a homeless shelter. To eat, they beg for money, go to soup kitchens, and go to churches to take a bath. Some of the homeless people who live in the streets also work, but they cannot tolerate the shelter system, and I don't blame them.

Some are criminals, beggars, prostitutes, thiefs, collect cans and bottles, wash car windows. And once in a while a miracle will happen to one of them. I used to manage an electronics store. One day this homeless guy came in and offered to do the store windows. I said sure. He gets started and all he has is a bucket of water and some newspapers. I end up giving him $20 to go buy a bottle of ammonia, some towels and a squegee. He did a great job on my store windows and I reccomended him to a couple of other merchants who in turn kept referring him to even more merchants. Needless to stay, this same homless man now has a flourishing business with 15 employess and 6 vans and does window washing all over the county now all from a mere $20 that I gave him. As a result, I now never have to worry about dirty windows at my home as he sends someone over once a week to do my windows at no charge.

I know of one person who became so depressed, that he chose to be homeless - in New York City. He didn't do it for very long - Spring through the Summer. He slept on the park benches, and collected cans to cash in for meals. He could find 'breakfast' at cafe's that had specials, lunches, and dinners were handouts, soup kitchens and whatnot. He said that he never ever solicited anyone for cash; people just would pass bills to him - which their generosity touched him. He said his lowest moment was when he had fallen asleep, and someone had stolen from him a full day's worth of cans he had collected.
He finally was able to emotionally pull himself back together again, and was thankful to God that nothing harmful ever happened to him.

They beg. They sleep in abandon places. Sometimes they get a lil help here and there from churches. Not all homeless ppl are bums, sometimes it was just a few hard days that turned into forever.

Homeless people live on the street or in cardboard boxes. They do sexual favors and sell drugs to make ends meet. I love them all for it.

They collect scrap and resale it. Dig through dumpsters. Live off handouts and panhandle. Or so I have heard. It doesn't make them bad.

They live homeless and without any plan. And No God has no plan for us and doesn't interfere with our everyday lives.
They try to survive.
