Because you can hold a conversation with them on topics other than how Bush has destroyed the world.

Kenny, nice try, but a search on those quotes only finds sources with no real credentials. Intervention magazine doesn't even have links to their archives back that far. You might get liberals to swallow those quotes, but people that actually know Ann Coulter know you're a liar.

I realize you feel strongly about your ideas, but don't you ever stop and think about the value of your ideas when you have to fabricate evidence to support them? Should I list the liberal lies that can be verified on the internet? USSC appointing Bush, Clinton wasn't really impeached, it wasn't really Perjury, he never lost his Arkansas Law license, Hillary wasn't involved with Whitewater, no one ever got indicted by Ken Starr's probes, the Constitution has the phrases "separation of church and state" and "privacy", the Second Amendment only protects the militia, and on and on and on. Why do I even bother to check the truth of liberal propaganda anymore?

Its called common sense. That is a commodity that is in short supply As evidenced by the left willing to cave in in Iraq for the short term feel good sensation and not anticipating the big picture of unintended consequences that would result. In Vietnam they looked no further then past the ends of their noses and it got 3 million souls killed after we left. The intelligencia of Cambodia was nearly completely wiped out when 1.8 million folks died in the killing fields. The libs had no answer for that and they will not concern themselves if 5 million die in the middle east once we leave. Good Judeo-Christian folks who have not a clue about their faith or protecting humanity especially those who cannot defend themselves. Our history of defending freedom and liberty even for those in foreign lands is slowly coming to an end. Many in the world sit on their hands when the worlds oppressed cry out. At least occasionally we answer the pleading of others. That is if it isn't too much trouble or cause us undue stress. The clarion calls for liberty over 200 years ago are finally being drowned out by screeching homers that can't be bothered by the suffering of others at the hands of religious zealots and thugs who wantonly murder and main men, women, and children in the name of God. If this is not a sick scenario that can and should be opposed by brothers and sisters of liberty in our nation, then we have morally lost our way. When the enemy of humanity is blowing children to bits for a corrupt ideology we should stand shoulder to shoulder with folks in other countries to oppose this wholesale slaughter which the media brings into our living rooms each night. These despots will prevail because of their belief that America has no stomach for the fight-as least one that lasts over 2 weeks. Maybe someday somewhere common sense and common decency will take precedent over political expediency. Doesn't look like anytime soon.

They don't always make more sense, but they usually make more dollars.

Conservatives believe in old tested-and-true ideas. So they're less likely to be wrong.

Liberals are willing to experiment. Most of those tested-and-true ideas were originaly proposed and tested by past liberals.

We need both liberals and conservatives.

Than Neo-Cons? Absolutely. Unfortunately Bush, Cheney, Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Coulter, etc... are NOT Conservatives, but, rather, Neo-Cons who support an expanded federal government, eroded civil rights, and a huge budget deficit.

It would be nice if there WERE some Conservatives around these days.

Because Libs only preach hate and discontent. They run on a platform of finger pointing yet offer no actual solutions. The one solution ever democratic president HAS been consistent with is raising taxes. They were also consistent the first time they tore the country apart when they fought (literally) against abolishing slavery!

Let us take a look at this truly inane statement.

Here is a very short review of the historical record that conservatives should simply fall on their knees and beg God for forgiveness for.

-Conservatives tried everything they could think of to maintain SLAVERY including a civil war while liberals were fighting for abolitionism.

-Even after the civil war ,conservatives continued their evil ways by not only enacting the loathsome Jim Crow laws but started a sister organization to the Southern Baptists to enforce Jim Crow called the KKK who lynched,raped,tortured literally thousands of innocent Blacks.Cross membership in the KKK and the Southern Baptists is found in the historical record.

-Another great thing we owe our thanks to the conservatives for is the slaughter of workers in the mills and factories of the very ,very Conservative Robber Barons all the while liberals fought for unions and protection of workers against these vile conservatives.

Like with slavery,the atrocities of the conservative Robber Barons eventually was stopped by LIBERALS for thankfully liberals knew conservatism made no sense at all.

-We all of course remember how hard the conservatives acted negatively towards the introduction of Social Security which now thanks to liberals is a God send to millions of retirees.

-We also all remember how hard these Christian conservative hypocrites worked so hard to prevent Medicare from being made into law and which now again thanks to liberals,is a God send to millions of Americans.

-The conservative movement has literally destroyed unions in America and are now being used/abused/violated by the multi-nationals as they move millions of jobs off shore .

-Thanks to these conservatives,companies,corporations and the wealthy are doing fantastic while the middle and lower classes are falling further and further behind.

If you believe that it is moral/ethical to use/abuse others;it is OK for corporations to buy our elected politicians and have them make corporation friendly,people un-friendly laws and regulations,conservatism does make sense.

If you this life is an animalistic existence where the "survival of only the fittess " survive,you will believe conservatism makes sense.

-If you believe that there is nothing wrong with starting an ILLEGAL war based upon a pack of filthy lies that has led to the slaughter of hundreds of thousands of innocent men ,women and children,you will agree that conservatism makes sense.

-If you believe that draft evading ,and war mongering is great like Bush does,you will love conservatism.

If you believe it is okay to abrogate your obligations under International Aggreements such as the Geneva Conventions like the conservative Bush does,you will think conservatism makes a lot of sense.
