I have a 1996 Mercedes Benz E 320… Ok here is the problem. The two front seats are power, but when I push forward the seat moves up when I push down it moves back when I push up it goes slanted the head rests work fine… How do I synchronize the seat to the switch?

Sounds like someone worked on the seat switch before and didn't hook it up right to the wire harness connector properly so the switch contacts are operating the wrong wires to the motor or they replaced the switch with one from a different model. Remove the seat switch if you're able and try to reverse the way it plugs onto the wire connector plug. Or possibly the seat motor was replaced and not wired properly.
