Can using "toys" before, during, or after the baby dance keep me from getting pregnant? Maybe this is a stupid question, but its been in the back of my mind for a while. TTC for 2 1/2 years now, a couple of miscarriages but no luck yet.
Also, are they safe while pregnant?
(toys=vibrators and such)

Yes, they can affect your chances. Lubricants will kill sperm as will saliva. If your partner has a low sperm count then using a vibrator after BMS could kill too many of the sperm.
Another thing, infection can be spread by the use of toys, if not cleaned properly.
My advice--keep using the toys, just not during ovulation!

They say having an orgasm helps the sperm swim. i dont see anything wrong with it...as long as your not using lube. Lube kills sperm on contact, and the only kind that is sperm friendly is called Preseed. Water, Saliva, Lube of any kind, will deffinatley lower your chances of conceiving. Good luck, and I wouldnt worry about the toys, I dont see a prob with it?

I don't think there is any correlation between using the toys and not getting pregnancy. I would speak to your doctor if you have had several miscarriages, it might have something to do with your hromones.

TMI : no because we used toys a lot and still got preggers twice. good luck have you talked to your doc about it?

Oh no you should be fine, they shouldn't affect getting pregnant!
