I think there are a lot of things that maybe a doctor needs to take a look at.....I worry about them but I havn't seen a doctor becasue I think it is all in my head. How do I know when something is serious enough to ask a doctor or if it's just in my head

Is there blood running out of your body? Are you unable to breathe? Are you fainting or feeling a consistent pain in your chest? Those are all biggies worth having a doctor look at.

Even without a major issue why not tell yourself it is time for an annual physical and go get yourself checked? That way you don't have to be judgmental of yourself as far as imagining a problem. You are just getting the checkup like everyone else.

If you have physical pain or discomfort, you need to see a doctor.

If you have mental anguish, you need to see a doctor.

If your perceived health status seems to continually change as you continually read about esoteric symptoms of exotic diseases, you may be suffering from hypochondria.
