Wear the belly belt, keep moving during pregnancy, and TRY to still eat healthy. You should be fine. BBUUTTT if all else fails just look people and yourself square in the eyes and say "Hey I just had a baby (so what if he is 3 years old) this is the fat from the baby and it will go away soon." LOL

I lost all the baby weight within 3 or 4 months. Breastfeeding is the best way to lose weight, and also walk with your baby in the stroller or in the ergo carrier every day. I also danced with my baby a lot. She had colic, and it was the only way I could get her to stop crying! So, I would hold her and dance around like a maniac for an hour or more every night. I lost all the weight very rapidly. Also, I never had time to eat! It's crazy, like that, especially if you're home alone after the birth. I literally did not have time to make myself a good meal. I would grab a piece of toast or a granola bar or whatever I could eat with one hand.

i was really big with my daughter, i went home 2 days after i had her and by then i went from really huge back to as if i was like 5 or 6 months pregnant... then within a month my tummy was close to the same size as it was before i got pregnant, cept its round not flat like before, my baby is almost 3 months old and im still trying to loose the last of the pregnancy weight. some people arnt able to get back into there old jeans unless they loose more then just what they gained in there pregnancy, my doctor told me that when you have a baby it can seperate you hips a tiny bit. so it makes your hips fit differently in your pants. they tell you not to diet for a while after delievery but you can always exercise just dont hurt yourself.

hate to break it to you, but i'm going on 5 years & it still hasnt gone down to normal.
You will still look pregnant walking out of the hospital & it will take up to 6mos for your uterus to get back into place. You should notice a dramatic change in about 6 - 8wks.
I've almost gotten there, but as one of the women said before, its always going to be round & have that pouch - one thing that helped tremendously with me was pilates... Can start that 4-6wks after delivery.

Wear shape wear everyday, all the time and you will loose it quick. I have a 3 month old and I lost my belly about a month ago. You also have to watch yourself with what you eat. Good luck and congrats!!

This all depends on how you go about it. We all know you have to work to get what you want.... especially when it comes to losing weight. You will still look prego when you leave the hospital.
