More money, less care and you will enjoy less take home. Universal health care will be okay for preventative medicine, but when it comes to surgeries or operations that is where it will kill us. You will wait months for some types of care. Don't bother to fix mom, she's over 70 and she's had a good enough life and the government cut that procedure from the budget anyway for folks over that age.

With universal health care, employers will not be paying insurance premiums. There won't be "insurance." With universal health care, costs will sky rocket. A huge government bureaucracy will have to be developed, and you will have to pay for the bureaucrats with higher taxes.

Basic economics dictate that a free market provides the lowest prices. Socialized health care bankrupts hospitals and increases the wait for medical attention. Take a look at Canada. They have a 30 day wait to be treated for a common cold.

Many companies are paying smaller and smaller portions of health care. But you are right, when government gets into it the care will go down and the costs (already the highest in the world) will sky-rocket.

Not only that, look at the Medicaid system and the inefficiencies, the corruption, the misuse, and the lack of care of the provider's part. That is what we would all be in for. And the waste is phenomenal!

If for no other reason - that is the one to not vote for a Socialist!

This will just cause more taxes, more bureaucracy, and more mess.

The government can't even run it's own country, how is it going to run healthcare?
