Yes I have. Every now and then I will wake up because I am not only crying, but literally sobbing... even when I don't feel sad through the day.
Don't feel too bad, I just posted a question about spitting in my sleep... at least you don't do that. haha.

Not for a long while now and never audibly or copiously but occasionally I'll get emotional about something and my tear ducts will open. Normally though, it's when I'm listening to music or reading old letters or watching an emotional film at the cinema. Cinema is actually quite a good place for men to cry, unless you're with someone nobody can really tell. Generally the song or film is just an excuse to cry because you may not have cried about things you really should cry about in real life.

This crying is a result of the dream you previously had. Sometimes dreams can bring horrible memories to the front of your mind while you are asleep and then make them dissapear bwhen yo wake up. It is nothing to be worried about, it happens only every so often and is a natural thing. On the plus side if you have someone beside you they usually comfort you.

Yes Dear....
I did / do / and will probably do some time ahead...
This is normal....
As a matter of fact, it is not normal not to have cried ever in your sleep...!!
Remember..Your dreams reflect what you experience during day time...
There should be something that makes you cry sometimes while awake...So why should it not happen with you while asleep ?!
There is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of being seen crying while asleep...

Yes, I too have cried in my sleep and my sobbing has at times woken me. I have also screamed in terror from a dream, waking not only myself but the rest of the members of my household. Thank goodness that does not occur very often.

Its not about someone lying next to you. There are more explanations to that, and you should really read about it if its happening often, but nothing to worry about really.
Yes, but I do dream something awful and cry about it the next day because this awful dream is so sharp and clear in my mind, I can even remember faces, the smell, or touch, or the color....strange....wish Frued did more on it.....but yea, I do cry terribly the next day and it just lasts for a couple of minutes....cos' i can remember all the scenes so well that it hurts......

I certainly have experienced this because of the fact while my grandfather died i could no longer supply up the tears and that i even found myself crying while i'm asleep because of the fact i might awaken interior the midst of the night and face and cheeks have been moist and that i basically could no longer supply up. It took me a minimum of a million week to recover from this obsessive crying. So your no longer on my own in this remember yet while u experience like your gonna have yet another one among those nights then basically enable it happen because of the fact there is no way in conserving back the tears.

yes that's happened to me. every time I have a dream that my husband has cheated on me. the feeling is so real I'm crying like crazy and my chest hurts, like my heart is broken. then when I wake up I'm still half-way crying, and I feel like I want to keep crying, even though I know it's just a dream and I know he hasn't cheated. sometimes it's hard to get rid of that emotional pain, because it feel sooo real. maybe it happened in a past life.

Throughout a day, you may be repressing some of your thoughts and feelings (perhaps due to stress, etc.) and as a result many of these thoughts and/or feelings don't get processed by your conscious mind. So instead, when you fall asleep, your subconscious mind won't censor out those thoughts and feelings, instead it processes it by way of dreaming - thereby giving you get an "outlet" to relieve your feelings from repression. Many people cry, scream, laugh, etc. in their sleep. Consider working out some of those feelings...

I cry more in my sleep than in real life! I wake up having cried with a tear filled pillow. It's weird!
