I think men are book smart, given that they've invented mostly everything we use. Also more men major in harder courses in college like Math and Science, while women usually major in English, or History.
I think women are common sense smart. Most women tend to over analyzes things, and look more in depth into peoples feelings and emotions, while men usually do things off of impulse. Women tend to have a much larger imagination, another reason why they tend to major in English
So I guess my answer is "IT DEPENDS ON THE SITUATION"

Women are smarter at some things...tuning into people for example. As a teacher for over twenty years, (adults and teens) I've found that women are generally much better at anything to do with languages and communication. Men are better at hard logic, maths, maps etc. But there are so many exceptions aren't there?! And let's not forget that for centuries women had to take a back seat educationally.
I think the sexes complement one another and we're just smart in different ways.

I don't know if one or the other is smarter but I think men are traditionally more aggressive in the business sector, but I think that has changed substantially in the last 20 years.Men are bigger risk takers and women seem to be quite a bit more conservative. I know that my wife is alot smarter than I am.

I went to this conference awhile back and one of the doctors said that the way the female mind works they can multitask easier than males can…IDK if that really makes a difference I just thought you’d like to know

Men and women are both just as smart, but in different ways. In my experience, men tend to be more logical, while women are more intuitive. Intuition is needed for raising children!

Im going to state my oppinion I believe Women Mature faster emotionally, but men mature faster mentally.
