Technically noone knows for sure. Some believe that the Universe never ends, some believe that it has an ending but you cannot pass it, some believe that the universe just goes in a circle round and round, We never will know until we reach the end of it, if there is one.
Although some believe that if their is an ned to the universe beyond it is another dimension, such as one with everyone having green skin.

A lot of theories believe that the universe is circular, and eventually, given enough time, you would end up back where you started.

If the universe had an edge, we might expect that the sky would look different in certain directions. The fact that the sky is fairly isotropic (same in all directions) leads us to believe that there is no end.

The universe has an end to it. But it is so big that you get the feeling that it keeps going on and on. Like the energizer bunny.
