My husband uses too much salt. He eats the wrong things, no matter what I cook. I have learned to disguise things like tofu and such so that he doesn't KNOW what it is. I buy supplements in tea form so he will drink them and vitamins.
But what else can I do? Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thank you.

To the last person, I am not doing it to be sneaky or evil, I am doing it because he might die! He has high blood pressure, among other things, and only his exercising keeps him healthy to my mind. Thank you for all answers though.

Ive had to do this with my husband. The trick is stop trying to feed him things, you like or want. Find out what he likes and build his meals around that. There are tons of foods out there now that is good for him, and is as good as the junk sold. Sit and talk with him, tell him that if you wanted to have a husband dead long before you, then you would have did what Anna Nichole Smith did and married some old guy. You love him, and even if it kills him, He means to much to you to lose because he wants a greasy hamburger LOL

don't buy the foods you don't want him to have. don't put out the salt at meals. but ultimately, it's gotta be his decision to eat right. he'll only resent you nagging him to change. tell him to keep his life insurance paid up so when he drops dead, you'll be provided for.

Take him to a doctor, or a convention for fat people to learn what can possibly happen to him if he keeps his habits up.
Otherwise, he just doesn't want to look good/be healthy.

I know you love him. Throw away the salt every time he buys it, just like people do to their loved ones whoth cigarettes & alcohol.
