I have just started to stitch. I don't have any idea what to stitch. Can anyone give me some ideas what to stitch for beginner projects?

Are you talking about cross stitch?

My advice would be to start with some smaller patterns. They're usually easier and you can finish them faster, which gives you a sense of accomplishment.

For a beginning stitcher, I would suggest going to the library and picking up a few pattern books that appeal to you - maybe some Christmas ones. Christmas ornaments stitch up quick and they make a nice gift.

You can also go to the craft store and pick out a kit that appeals to you. There's usually a variety of different subjects and styles and you should be able to find one you like.

If you mean cross stitch, I started out by going to the local Michaels or craft shop and looking through their kits. They're convenient because they have all the materials you need and they are usually very easy and have good directions.
