I have a problem with my system that I cant resolve, I phone Microsoft, who are extremely helpful and usually explain the solution in an easy way, and then I gave the contact no. for Microsoft, so if they chose to do the same they could. What have I done wrong? The God of Yahoo has shouted at me and I'm upset. I've been threatened with being slung off here and I'm not a horrible person! I didn't swear, shout or insult.

Oh darling, please don't let it bother you ! I've had violation notices for no good reason as well - some idiot reports you for some baffling reason and yahoo deals with it automatically - it's never read by a real person.
Join the club and lose not one wink of sleep over it !

I had a violation notice for - well not sure but think it was disagreeing! I felt a bit maverick but then I reported the same person in a tit for tat manner! Made me feel good!

I wouldn't worry you will get some really strange violation notices. They don't bother to check the complaints they just pass them on and there are some folk who get offended for no apparent reason.

It would appear that you have violated the provisions prohibition 'spam' advertising. Have you replied to Yahoo's violation notice and explained the facts? Try it and see what transpires.

Maybe it's becasue you gave the number for the above named company? There doesn't seem to be any logic to the reasons behind violations to me.

its just some of the crazys on this site. probably felt like you were betraying yahoo. my sister got one last week. for asking what should she order in a Chinese take away. yahoo just don't check the MSG that are reported.

dont worry my fella was on here an he got one too.. its not nice to be threatened especially when you are trying to help. but like it seems the majority have said i wouldnt worry bout it.
