not me...i don't like it here any more...it feels like this country has really gone down the toilet in the past 6 or so years...it's really quite sad, because i used to absolutely love it here, no I'm looking to move elsewhere....granted it is better than a lot of countries...but there are definitely better ones!

Some day if your ever get out of Jr High you might get a chance to travel to other countries. Having been to most of the Caribbean, S America, and western Europe, I can tell you that all things considered the USA is by far superior in almost all aspects. True the Brazilian ladies are quite tasty, the ganja in Jamaica is without a doubt excellent. The speed limits or lack of them in Germany get the blood pumping. There are many interesting and exciting things to see. However for the best time for the least amount of money nothing beats the USA. True we have no go zones (mostly black and brown ghettos, but in Europe the islamic ghettos are much more dangerous. The poor sections of S America and the Caribbean are certainly worse. Mostly what you complain about is your personal situation in this country. Ask yourself this question. If the USA is so God awful bad, just why is it that everyday people die trying to get here?

Prove the claims about how good it is here?
I have never had an governmental security force kick in my door at 2AM and drag any of my family members off to concentration camps.
I can say what I want, when I want, as long as it's not libelous or slanderous.
I can spend my money how I want.
I can go pretty much anywhere in the US, anytime, WITHOUT travel papers.
I make good money, and only have to fork part of it over to the government.
You need more, or do you now realize that you're completely and utterly full of s**t?

Apologize away.
I love it here, many places are much worse. Theyre sliding downward fast around here though. It isnt unAmerican or treacherous to want to protect your country from what is happening-it is amazing proof that at least there are some patriots left out there who care about the good of the country as a whole, and regard its future as more important than their own present.

Sure, but you should probably apologize for your own baseless whining first. We really do have it pretty good here. Our taxes are comparatively low, when you look at Canada, Europe, or much of Africa; our literacy rate isn't the best, but it's better than much of the world; even our standard of poverty is higher than most of the world.
Spend a little time in the peace corp, and you'll not only help elevate the standard of living in places that need it, but you'll have a better grasp of how good things really are here.

It IS good here. I have a roof over my head, clean running water, vaccines available for my children, the freedom to work and make a living, the right to worship as I see fit, the privilege of voting, healthy and bountiful supplies of food are in the grocery stores, I don't have to worry about car bombs going off, I can sleep well at night knowing that my country is safer than many others, I have access to doctors when I get sick, I can make opportunities for myself, I have had the right, freedom, and access to a college education, I am not treated as second rate because I am a woman, I don't have to live in fear of militant terrorists in my streets, there is electricity and heat in my home, I am able to invest and plan for my retirement, I am allowed to own a car and tv, I am not limited to the number of children I can have ... What are you whining about???

i really wish that people like you would all be gathered up ant sent to these other countries that you think are so much better. you were born here? then apparently your parents never taught you how to be thankful for what you have. what is it that you think is so bad here? your freedom, hmm. the right to pretty much do or say what you want, even if you are stupid and ungrateful? no? is it that we have 24 hr groceries to eat when we want? no? clean drinking water? no? the unlimited amount of education provided? no? a roof over your head? no? i know, it must be the damn cable tv...that has to be it. or is it that you're just pissed off because no one has taken you hostage, killed your family, and haven't cut off your head yet. why don't you gather your family and move to iraq, iran, africa, somewhere like that and then see how much complaining about your country you do.

I do not believe it would be a good idea to apologize for anyone seeing that we don't have the same views as you. You can only apologize for yourself. Try apologizing for someone who lives in Africa whom are dying from hunger that America is not good enough for them.

You are probably not an American. Why else would you constantly say "my fellow Americans" in your questions which are almost always anti-American?
Your posts aren't worth responding to.
