Being that the Yankees have a better shot at making the playoffs than the Astrros, the decision is simple. Those of you who believe that he will end up in Boston are delusional.

Would you go back to work for someone who said you were no good, and washed up. Whatever he may say to the media, he is only being PC because its the media who seems to believe that he will consider going back to Boston. So Red Sox fans, get over it....he'll be in pinstripes by the all star break. By then, the Red Sox will probably be on the verge of handing the Yankees the division again anyway (and you know it - history shows).

Update:
To Lucky Charmz the little leprechaun.........regardless of new ownership, he will not go back there, mark my words. And if you read correctly I said on the verge and if you know your history.......you know I am correct. So don't be too impressed with your boys right now and pray they stay healthy.
I know I'm not (happy with Yankee play), but I know that it's a long way to October, a long way. So I say good luck to all you baseball fans and it's comments and posts like these that make this game so great.
LMAO, Where would baseball be if not for the Yankees and Red Sox.

Roger Clemens should sign with the Yankees right about now, for somewhat obvious reasons (or rather the Yankees should sign Roger Clemens)

As far as who he will sign with, heck i don't know. My gut feeling is the Astros because the Red Sox do not need starting pitching at all so they would see no need for him, and I don't know if he would actually sign with the Yankees.

along with his visual attraction Billy Martin-like and the cheers Billy Martin-like, Clemens has the potential for putting an excellent exclamation factor on his astounding occupation in a city whose followers extremely delight in him. The crimson Sox and Astros have been in no way interior the working - for my section - and George replaced into bidding against himself, prepared to stay interior the pennant race after the actual depressing start up. the different golf equipment ought to no longer have matched the Yankees stunning furnish and - even with the indisputable fact that it is a very diverse enterprise - there in basic terms seems to be some thing that forestalls Clemens from ever donning the crimson Sox uniform. it is going to likely be exciting to confirm the way it performs out when you consider that Clemens ought to place the Yankees in place to win one and all of his starts off, an undaunting job. he's no longer Koufax, yet no longer something in need of perfection would be seen as a mediocre "professional-rated" three hundred and sixty 5 days.

There could be a chance that Roger Clemens doesn't come back and it becomes none of the above teams that you mentioned.

However, if he does come back in May or June for another season, it depends on what he wants to come back for. If it is for more money, then I think he will either choose the Yankees or the Astros. If he wants to come back for another shot at a World Series title, then the edge will go to the Red Sox.

haha...calling us delusional..that is funny. Funny that you think the Yankees will be ahead of the Red Sox come the all-star break. Someone might be, but it sure won't be the Yankees. Also, the people who said that about Roger was the old ownership who is no longer here and let's not forget Roger lied about leaving here when we offered him a deal and said he wanted to move closer to home. Wow, hmm..he lives in Texas and went to Toronto...ya, that is kind of close there Roger...so I say screw him...we have a great staff right now. Let him go to the yankees, so he can pull a groin or a hammy like the rest of their staff..Keep up the positive attitude though Yankee fans...at least you are out of last place today....I actually kind of feel a little sad for ya...NOT!

It will be the Yankees or Houston. The only reason the Red Sox would take him is to screw the Yankees -- but that can get very expensive and they have a solid rotation. Yankees will offer the most and need it the most (the last place talk is funny since the whole division is within 5.5 games of each other), but Houston would be the safest choice.

He will sign with the Yankees. Most of the pitching staff for the Yankees are on the DL with hamstring injuries, thus the recent firing, though it was unfair. Yankees will try to win at all cost and they will pay Roger whatever he wants, providing Clemens still wants to pitch this year and decides not to hang it up.

Astros, they are near his home -- the Yankees are a lost cause this year with or without him and the Red Sox don't need him

As long as the Astros are still in the race he will sign with them. Otherwise it will probably be the Yankees.
