There are many reasons why a baby doesn't Drop. If you are visiting your ob dr. regularly he/she will let you know if there are any reasons to be concerned. Some babies don't drop until the very last minute. As long as you feel normal and regularly movement then don't worry. He/She knows when it is time to start their journey and in what fashion they wish to do it. I wish you well with your delivery.

First a baby not dropping and a baby being breech are two different things. Even before they drop most babies are head down toward the end of pregnancy. If a baby is feet down then they are called breech and they can drop this way too. They can be born this way, but most doctors are not comfortable with delivering this way and will push for a C-sections.

Second some babies don't drop until you are in labor.

You didn't mention how far you are along. Some babies never do drop until mom's in full force labor.

The silly answer is that if the baby hasn't dropped, you still have a hard time taking a deep breath, but your bladder can hold more than 2 oz. ;-)

All babies come out. Either vaginally or by c-section. Dropping is not an indication of anything. It doesn't mean that the baby is breech, it doesn't mean that you'll deliver vaginally or by c-section. It literally means that you're still carrying high.

Well the baby turning head down, and then dropping, are two different things. If the baby does not turn head down by a couple weeks before birth, usually the dr will plan a c-section. If a baby is head down, it may not drop right away, some do just before labor begins.

Some babies don't drop until after labor starts. Don't worry, the baby will be born just fine whether it drops early or late. It is unlikely, though not impossible, that if the baby was head down it would turn completely right before the birth, and if it did, you would feel it happen.

The baby dropping has nothing to do with it being born feet first. Being feet first is called breach and is caused by the baby not turning head down. The baby will drop mine didnt untill I went into labor and dropping is where the baby positions itself in the birth canal.

Believe me the baby WILL drop. Whether breech or not the baby will drop. If the baby is really high and for some reason doesn't want to drop then more than likely a c section will be needed

Depending your your size you may not feel the baby drop. I never felt any difference with either of my children. I'm 5'3" and had an 8 pounder and a 9 pounder (not at the same time). They were so big and had no place to really drop to. So you may just not notice anything until you're in labor.

It depends on how far along you are. Some babies wait till the last day or two to drop. If the baby never does make that decent then you would have a c-section.

Don't worry. Some babies don't drop until literally hours before labor starts. My mother experienced this and so did a friend of mine.

I guess some little kiddos are procrastinators and like to wait until the last minute!
