They don't insist on more abortions. They just don't value life as much as most people. Somehow they forget that that private medical decision between a woman and her doctor actually involves a third person. I know, somehomw in their twisted logic it is not a person at all but then what could it be?

Ummm... nobody has ever aborted in order to get stem cels, you putz: the abortions happen whether you make any productive use afterwards of the stem cells or not. You're arguing, then, that it is better not to get anything positive from an aborted fetus than to try to help others through research? Pathetic.
And, um... proven how? You make one Hell of a claim, but don't really back it up with any evidence...
Can you argue from facts, or do you just make this stuff up as you go along?

Alright to go along with the rest of the people that just bashed you. Stem cell research in Brazil has not saved lives directly yet but has helped in severly slowing down the process of alzheimers, that is just to start. Ever hear of a frozen embryo? You know like when people freeze them just incase they want to have babies somewhere down the road. Do you know what happens with those embryos when they don't use them? They are put into medical waste dumps and rot. Why not use them for research along with aborted babies instead of throwing them in a dump? I hope I have some what opened your eyes, we can only hope.

embryonic stem cell lines came from discarded fertility clinic fetuses. Advances were made in this type of research in 1996 ( I know, you didn;t care then...it wasn't political yet) when the right to life movement successfully placed a gag order on it. That is why it has never been published. Just because you bury something does not mean it doesn';t exist.

Stem cell research hasn't been proven not to save lives. Chances are it will save plenty of lives.
You're wrong about so many things in just one question.

We dont' insist on more abortions at all just that women should be able to have one if they desire.
Moreover....not a whole lot has been proven about embryonic stem cell research because conservatives wont let us do the research.

Liberals don't insist on more abortions, that's absurd. They do insist on promoting information about birth control beyond "abstinance only" prorgrams promoted by conversatives and the religous tight which have been proven to do little to prevent premarital sex and actually promote more unwanted pregnancies. More ignorance from the right.

Interesting! I don't ever recall any liberal telling people they had to abort! I don't recalling seeing liberals tying and gagging people and forcing them into abortion clinics. If that were to happen I am sure that even the liberal media would have reported it.
There are many people who are pro-choice and would never themselves consider having an abortion.
Maybe it's the believe in less government involvement.

I do not know the medical benefits of stem cell research and it doesn't matter, because abortion is the decision of one individual to commit murder. And stem cell research is the decision of many to clone embryos and commit mass murder.

your premise is wrong twice. liberals do not insist on more abortions. stem cell research leads to cures for diseases. when has it been proven not to save lives? it doesn't save lives directly, it leads to new discovery.
