I think walmart, I'm not being hillbilly, it's just makeup is expensive and you might save a few $s by shopping there.

It depends on your budget. If you can afford to pay liked 20 dollars for mascara, then you could try Sephora or something like that. However, if you want a good quality make up thats cheaper go to your local drugstore. There are plenty of good brands, some are only about 5 bucks. Try Maybellene. If you are like under 12 years old, you could go to Claire's...but I don't think somebody that young would ask a question like that..however if you are that young, you may want to hold off on wearing make up.
Basically, it depends on how old u are and how much money you plan on spending. I would go to the drugstore, that's where I get all my make up. There is some excellent stuff there for a lot cheaper than it is at the designer places.
Good luck!

Mineral makeup are the best kind of makeup that you could use because majority of them do not cause any problems for the skin. However, while you are on that route, remember to purchase minerals that are pure and do not contain any elements that would irritate your skin. Try Everyday Minerals at everydayminerals.com. The company sends samples for free because they are confident in the products that they are selling.

I usually buy my makeup @ drugstores except for foundation. I like being able to test foundations and dept. stores are better for that.
I also check reviews of products on www.makeupalley.com & www.cosmeticscop.com.
Here are some general recommendations for each drugstore brand:
1) Eyeshadow - Revlon & L'Oreal
2) Mascara - L'Oreal
3) Lip color - Revlon (make sure it is taste & scent free; avoid the Moon Drops line), Rimmel
4) Blush - almost any brand w/ a slight bias towards Revlon & L'Oreal
5) Foundation (if you must get a drugstore brand) - L'Oreal
Dept. Store - Clinique but my friend w/ fair skin loves Prescriptives

Either MAC or Lancome'...Mac has the best liquid eyeliner, its literally ocean proof, and they have a huge selection of shadows, and with them a little goes a long way so its worth the money. Lancome has been voted best for their mascara forever now. If you want a good liquid foundation I would try Loreal perfect match make-up, it blends very well with your skin, and they have a powder to go over it as well. MAC definately has the best bronzer as well. If you want a good lipgloss than try Victorias Secret, they have one called sugar cookie and its great! Hope this helps a little..

I would go to the mall. When your there you can go to different makeup counters and look for colors you like. Afterwards they will apply it on you for free and then you can get good quality makeup, but it's not cheap. If you want something cheap try cover girl @ Wal-Mart or Mark from avon.

MAC has the best face makeup. Studio Fix in the Creme Foundation, or Studio Fix Liquid. MAC has the best selection in color for the eyes.. Matte finish.. Lustre finish.. etc. and THEEEE best eye-liner. Try MAC Fluidline. Its everlasting. Everything except lipgloss.. there lipgloss is way to sticky. i prefer Dior lip cosmetics.

how much do you want to spend? i tend to go to walmart, i buy maybelline, milani, covergirl and loreal for my eyeshadow, mascara and lipstick and lipgloss. they are pretty inexpensive. for my foundation and powder i buy fashion fair at boston store the foundation is 18 and the powder is 20 i believe. i just went to sephora and spent 57 bucks on eye shadows and a lipstick compact. they have the best colors i have seen. now they are the most expensive that i buy from. i dont have the money for MAC or the most expensive brands so i tend to stick with the ones that i can afford to replenish when i need to. try looking at cosmo or glamour magazine for ideas.

Ulta or Sephora. Ulta carries everything from common Cover Girl to high end cosmetics... Sephora is more expensive. But both places are devoted to cosmetics.

mac is a good brand to get. If ur in to bolder colors get one of their pigments. They last forever and you can use it as a shimmer over ur nail polish, eyeshadow, or depending on the color like blush or bronzer.
