Well jason, For sound advise, I'd check with the Australian consulate office in your nearest captital city before buying your ticket. Other wise you may have the pleasure of meeting me on your arrival.

You can ask but I don't like your chances. The rapper Snoop Dog was recently refused entry because of a drugs conviction. Even so, it does no harm to ask.

I dont like your chances of getting a visa, and yes they will check it out! But it will depend upon the severity of the charge/s and how old they are.

erm yeah they will and you will probably find it quite difficult to get in... They wouldn't let me in simply because i had been to Asia where 2 people have died from bird flu... made me have chest xrays and doctor reports before letting me in.

They are very strict about who they let in...

But I say why not try, what's the worst they can say? NO
The best - YEAH come on in

Good luck ;-)

I don't think they check your past history. I think they just check your credit. Of course I don't know for sure, but good luck and God Bless.
