first you need 2 things bleach and toner. basicly bleach will make your hair white/blond the toner can make it snow white. if you just want that color white then get toner.

if your bleaching it then dying it another color only use the bleach. i use beyond the zone bleach kit (either way) if you have long hair get 2 or 3. there 10 dollers per kit at a store called sallys. other things you need always.

*tinting brush (i think the kits come with gloves and brush)
*gloves
*old towel (to put around your neck when bleaching)
*dye off* its a small case fill with little wipes to take off any
dye you get on your hands or face. (doesnt work with bleach only colors)

if you get bleach on you at any timebesides your hair.stop and take warm water and wash it off. bleach comes in vol 20. 30. 40. higher you go the stronger it is. 40 is the strongest. and make you you do a test batch before. the booklet will tell you how. hope this helps and have fun

there is not any white dye. What you do is bleach (using 40 volume developer and bleach it really is marked as scalp reliable) and then you fairly follow a diminished violet toner to get the yellow out. pay attention...it really is a dangerous equipment. if you have a hot topic store or something similar near you, they probably carry a bleach kit called white out. it comes with standard bleach but also with a toner that takes all the yellow/orange color out of your hair. I'm blonde but I went platinum once and I used that. we're talking like, Gwen Stefani platinum. just make sure to super deep condition your hair before and afterwards.

You can buy a highlighting kit, and just put it all over your head, but it will fry your hair so get a goooood conditioner. You may need 2 of them, but most of the over the counter ones, for light blonde are pure bleach mixture.

i'd recommend finding an afro hair shop. They sell huge bottles of peroxide which is meant for afro hair, of course you have to buy the developing powder separate, but they will have that too. Ask for the strongest peroxide, i found 45% one in my afro shop and it was pretty good. Gotta be really for afro hair!
