Yes, it is, but let your doctor know (mine told me it was OK) because they may want to confirm you have one. Also, use the 7 day treatment (gynelotrimin), not the one day, because the yeasties in us pregnant women are aggressive buggers who don't respond to Monistat sometimes and take longer to treat. Make sure you are eating yogurt everyday, don't wear undies at night, and cut down on your sugar intake. that should help it from coming back.
Also, avoid sex during the treatment period, the acidity of sperm can increase the yeast because it creates a favourable growing environment.

I had a yeadt infection at 16 weeks. My doctor says that it's okay for OTC medication. She told me to use Monistat 3, either the prefilled or the tablet. Don't use Monistat 1, she says it's too strong.

It is okay to use OTC yeast infection cream when you're pregnant. Let your Dr know that you are having yeast infections though.

Yes, it's safe. My doctor told me to take monistat 7, but I would check with the doctor before I use it to make sure it is in fact a yeast infection.

I had a yeast infection at 22 weeks and I called my Dr first and asked him what to do and he told me to go to the Drug store and buy the Cream. I did and it went away and I delivered a perfectly healthy baby girl. If your still concerned just give your doctor a quick call.

ive actually heard that youre not supposed to self diagnose anything - even if it is a yeast infection (im sure we all know what those are like...) and you know the symptoms. because what if its not?
im sure it wouldnt be a HUGE problem.. but just to be on the safe side i would call your doctor, and make an appointment to be seen.
