Me right now, just seeing the goodness of my kids, the love in my family, waiting for that "one" grandbaby that was "impossible" after so much tradgedy our kids have gone through, how we all learn from them, the strength and character building God has done in their lives.

There has been much loss for all our family this last five years, but only as He can do, God has turned the loss into great gain. We look forward to the end, and cherish each moment as best we can, we are aware now of our mortality, somehow this makes living more precious, we won't waste our sorrows any longer, we will use them for the good of others and always try to help.

It's now time to cherish all we see that God has given us, to do things we always wanted to do, maybe take a little more risk in things we used to fear, we have learned "God" is supreme, and to have faith, something that doesn't come so easy at times, but worth the "warfare" of obtaining it.

I don't think I'll ever know, first-hand. Like most of my generation, I will never be able to afford to retire. If you were born after 1959, and not born rich, it's Work or Die. Social Security will have imploded by the time we're old enough to collect, and you can't count on the investments in your 401(k) not to suddenly go all ENRON on you.

The love of life keeps one going day to day. One day at a time. Also love of the Lord.
