If I finally catch my husband with this other woman he claims he only called "twice and nothing happened", does Ca honor the at fault rules.
I came from nothing, statred on welfare and within 7 years was earning over 40k annually, and bought a nice house for my family, while my husband was on "workers comp" and only making $450.00 so he did not contribute anything to the purchas eof our house. Being that I did all of this in good faith that my husband would neer cheat on me, shouldn't I be able to keep all assets and profit from the sale of the house. If I have proof for the judge, I mean.

CA is a no fault state. so unless you have children....everything is 50/50. so it looks like your husband can walk away with spousal support. but...if you have a good attorney....you can walk away with the house. hopefully you had separate accounts. receipts and all that jazz. copies of his checks can be good too. but to fight that...you would need an attorney. otherwise it would most likely go 50/50.

no you can sue on gounds of adultry but it wont mean anything in the end about the division of mariatal assests. Unfortunately you will have to buy him out of his half of the house. it shouldnt be hard b/c he isnt working and cant afford to keep it himself.

What you do is motivate him to sign over his half to you.

How?

Child support. Offer to waive any and all future child support if he waives his claims to half of what you have.

Crunch the numbers until the look good to him to let go.
