That would be a cool idea, but no one has yet decided it is worth the tax payers' money to launch a $100 million satellite whose primary purpose would be to send back pictures of the earth. Try nasa.gov. They have wonderful static pictures of the earth taken from the moon, the shuttle and the international space station. Check out the following websites for great photographs

Check the site below. Not only for whole earth but for your house if you want to see a satellite pic of it. I saw my car in the driveway with Google maps, but the below site will get earth shots updated every 30 minutes (?)

You can try Weather Channel. they always show the current pictures of the your area.
Jokes apart, Google earth provides you stationery images. However if you subscribe for their paid service, they offer various kind of facilities.
However I am not aware of any live images/ videos except for millitary/spying purposes.

You mean live coverage.. there is no such thing available for the general public. (Military use only - sorry).
The closest that you can get is google earth.
If you don't have it, go to google.com and download the drivers and setup and then you can access it (its free).
You may be surprised at what it can do.. (take the Grand Canyon tour that comes with it).

There is no such place. The best you can do is get a job with CIA - they have active real-time satellites.
